Our Co-Founders
Kaylie
Kaylie is an LA-based wellness practitioner and artist whose work is rooted in a single belief: wellness lives at the intersection of body, mind, and spirit.
Her path into healing began after losing her cousin in 2018. She immersed herself in a variety of modalities by becoming Reiki attuned, completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training and a 65-hour yoga sculpt certification, and continues studying Crystal Alchemy Singing Bowls with Jeralyn Glass of Crystal Cadence since 2020.
Alongside her wellness exploration, Kaylie spent over a decade in Global Brand Development & Marketing within the beauty industry, building campaigns and products for some of the market’s leading brands. This deep grounding in product development eventually led her to a more hands-on approach to help others. She earned her Esthetician license to bring clients more than just skilled facials, but real ingredient education and customized home regimens. She is passionate about guiding clients towards lasting skin health rather than product trends.
Art serves as her creative outlet and another form of meditation. Ceramics, watercolor art and floral arrangements remind her of patience and detachment from a single outcome.
Subtle Senses is the culmination of years of exploration: a 360° approach to holistic wellness.
Suz
Suz’s work/life pendulum is always swinging between creativity and compassion. In 2020, she began envisioning a creative space that could hold both artistry and healing — a place where beauty, reflection, and meaningful connection could coexist. By 2021, she was co-hosting Retreat Day gatherings in her home: intimate experiences that blended sound baths with creative practices like watercolor and collage. These early circles deepened her love for creating safe, communal spaces and helped foster the transition into a larger, more consistent rhythm of gathering and care.
Now, as a Founder and Creative Director of Subtle Senses, Suz is excited to help cultivate a creative and connected community while thoughtfully weaving together incredible practitioners, healing modalities, and artistic voices into a nurturing container for reflection, transformation, and belonging.
Suz is an artist and designer with a background in psychology and interior design. She has a passion for watercolor-like textures and feminine forms. She shares, “Watercolor invites us to explore the way colors blend into something unexpected and beautiful, encouraging us to let go of control and trust the fluidity of the medium to do the work for us.” Her aim is to create work that feels embracing and captures a glimpse of a subject’s true essence and interior landscape.
Alongside her art, Suz has studied Ayurveda and sound healing, both of which continue to weave into her creative practice and the evolving ethos of Subtle Senses.
